CrossFit is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It is now being used as a primary method of training by Military Special Forces, Police academies, and professional athletes around the world. While this may sound intimidating, the beautiful thing about CrossFit is that it can be done by people of all ages and athletic backgrounds side-by-side.
Everything we do can be scaled for each individual, meaning we change the weight and not the programming; the needs of an elite athlete and business person differ only in degree, not kind. In CrossFit it is not unusual to see a professional athlete and new-to-CrossFit grandparent doing the exact same WOD (workout of the day) beside one another! And because everyone is fighting through the same challenge – not to beat the person beside them, but to better themselves – it creates one of the strongest, most positive communities you will ever experience.
CrossFit uses high intensity functional movements to increase work capacity over broad time and modal domains. Put a little more simply, we specialize in not specializing. You will use natural movements (squats, deadlifts, jumping, pulling, pushing, sprinting, and more) to be ready for the known and unknowable experiences in every day of your life.
